My First Post

I’ve decided it was about time to try something new and start a blog. For sometime now I’ve wanted to share with the world what it’s like to be a Java/J2EE Computer Programmer. During college I never really understood what it would be like to be a computer programmer. When you’re a student they never really prepare you to what it’s actually like to be a professional coder. Students think because they can do simple programming assignments (which are really easy and not actually like anything you do on the job) they’re all that and are ready to do any job at an expert level. That’s not how the world works.

Throughout this blog I will give advice, tips and general observations of office culture in my experience as a Java/J2EE developer.
