Thinking Like A Computer Programmer

Have you ever wondered what goes on inside the mind of computer programmer? I like to think that to obtain optimal performance on the job you need to have the coding state of mind. This is the state of intense concentration where your thinking about and working out the logic of a problem out. You adjust a little and keep rearranging all the details in your head until everything just seems to come together. This state also may mean thinking about a problem all day (not just the workday) until the solution just comes to you.

Rest & Relaxation On My 28th Birthday

It really is good to leave work at the workplace on some weekends. It really helps to relax you after a long week. I decided last night to celebrate my 28th birthday (which is today) by heading down to the club to try to meet some new and interesting people. I thought everyone would be interested in seeing who I met last night.

The Weekend Finally and A Positive Thought

Wow, it’s been quite an unusual day. Right here in the midwest we woke up to a 5.2 earthquake just before 6 AM EST and than another smaller obvious aftershock at around 11:15 AM. The weather is fantastic it was a beautiful 78 degrees today and I thought I’d show you a picture of what it looks like outside my office.

Remember this thought to anyone who wants to code. Persistence prevails. Never ever give up under any circumstance. This piece of advice I learned on my own through years of trial and error and it has never failed me.
