It’s gonna be alright. I received confirmation last week that I did in fact get the contract I wanted.  The only limitations one puts on his or her career is the limitations that they set for themselves. I’ve been very busy the past few days trying to get used to the new surroundings.

It’s gonna be a whole new game and a whole new challenge and I’m looking forward to a nice mild winter.

The Louisville area suffered some severe storms and I have been without power for over 24 hours. It looks like the area could be without power for up to 2 weeks. I wouldn’t care if I got a final decision back on the Tampa job. I was told that finally the managers will make up there decision by tonight. It seems that the larger the company is the slower they are in making decisions. Everything looks good but  I’ll believe it when I see it.

Finally I’m starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. It seems the finalization of my contract near Tampa is taking longer than expected.  I emailed the staffing company and it looks like by Friday everything should be confirmed and official.  Job hunting for my next gig has really stressed me out in the past few weeks and I’m finally starting to see the results of my never give up attitude.
